Mercedes-Benz Witbank contacted us for some regular vanity plates for their showroom.
We manufactured some samples on our in-house CNC machine and sent them off for approval. They were very impressed and the initial 10 plates became a 50 plate project!
We made the plate layout to their exact specification and once approved, we cut the blanks on the CNC and cut the vinyl on our Roland printer. The cut vinyl is applied to the back side of the Perspex and that serves two purposes :
1. Protects the vinyl from scratches and other possible damage
Leaves a glass like appearance on the front of the plate
As a sign of our appreciation we designed and manufactured a storage case out of ACM that will keep the plates safe when not in use!. The whole packages was crated up for safety and couriered to MB Witbank.
